Hello, I’m Jubair. I lead Evergreen Bangladesh Tours as its CEO, and I’m learning to guide our guests myself.
What made me love travelling
For me it has always been Bangladesh itself: its beauty, its diversity and its culture. In a few hours you can go from busy city streets to quiet villages, tea gardens, rivers and the sea, and every region has its own food, festivals and way of life. The more of it I see, the more I want to share it.
Studying travel, then living it
I studied at the University of Dhaka, where I completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), both in Tourism and Hospitality Management.
What I do at Evergreen
We are still a small team, so as CEO I look after almost every part of running the company, from planning and organising to taking care of our guests and our team. That means I see every trip from the first message to the last goodbye, and I know how much care goes into each one.
Learning to guide
Guiding is my passion, so I’m training to become a guide alongside Raihan, one of our founding guides. Travelling with him, I have already explored around 30 of Bangladesh’s 64 districts, and every trip teaches me something new about our country and the people who come to see it.
My favourite places
Cox’s Bazar and Saint Martin’s Island are where I feel happiest: the long sandy beach at Cox’s Bazar, and the clear water and coral around Saint Martin’s, Bangladesh’s only coral island.
A family business
Evergreen is a family business, and we love travelling together. Every year the whole family goes on a trip together, parents, children and all, and we have more fun than you can imagine. We bring that same spirit to every trip we host, so you travel with us like part of the family.
My dream
One day I hope to explore the world together with my beautiful wife. Until then, I’m very happy to show the world the best of Bangladesh.
