Our day tours are the easiest way to see the real Bangladesh when you have little time: on a layover, before a longer trip or as a first taste of the country. Every tour is private, so it is just you, the people you travel with and a guide from our own team who speaks English and knows the city well.

Dhaka is one of the most crowded cities on Earth, which is exactly why a local guide helps. We plan the route around traffic, take boats and rickshaws where they are faster, and make sure you see Old Dhaka’s markets, mosques, temples and riverside life rather than a traffic jam.

Which day tour to choose

• Dhaka City Day Tour: a full day of Mughal and colonial landmarks, the Pink Palace, Old Dhaka’s lanes and local markets. From $50 per person.
• Half-Day Dhaka City Tour: the highlights in 4 to 5 hours, ideal before a flight. From $35 per person.
• Panam City and Sonargaon Day Tour: leave the city for the old capital of Bengal, its merchant houses and folk crafts. From $70 per person.
• Dhaka Documentary and Street Photography Tour: markets, railway life, the Buriganga River and shipyards for photographers. From $50 per person.
