How we choose where you stay
Your needs first
Tell us what matters: a quiet room, a pool, a lift, a family room or a view. We look for places that tick those boxes.
Your budget
Simple and comfortable or something special. We suggest options at the level you choose and show the price in your plan.
Clean, safe and well placed
We check standards, recent reviews and the location, so you spend less time in traffic and more time exploring.
Stays that make the trip
Some of the kinds of places our guests enjoy most.
Tea-garden eco-resorts
Lodges among the tea estates and forests around Sreemangal and Sylhet.
A night on the water
Cabins on a boat in the Sundarbans, or an overnight river launch from Dhaka.

Questions travellers ask
Which hotels do you use?
We are not tied to a list. For each trip we look for the best hotel in each place for your needs and budget, and suggest it with an honest description.
Can I choose my own hotel?
Yes. If you have a hotel in mind, tell us and we will book it, or let us know if you would rather book a night yourself.
Do you book eco-resorts and tea-garden stays?
Yes. Around Sreemangal and Sylhet there are lodges and resorts among the tea gardens and forests, and they are often the highlight of a trip.
Where do I stay in the Sundarbans?
Most visitors sleep on board a boat with cabins, which is the only way to spend a night in the forest. Our guide to visiting the Sundarbans explains how it works.
When should I book?
For November to February, the busiest season, two to three months ahead is best, because the best places in Sreemangal and the Sundarbans fill up. Outside that season, a few weeks is usually enough.
