Day 1 – Dhaka to Sreemangal: Tea Estate, Rubber Garden & Tea Culture

Your journey begins early in the morning as you depart Dhaka by train for Sreemangal. Sit back and enjoy the approximately 4–5 hour journey through the countryside as busy urban surroundings gradually give way to greener rural landscapes.

After arriving in Sreemangal and enjoying lunch, begin your exploration at the beautiful Noor Jahan Tea Estate. Walk through the green tea-growing landscape and experience the peaceful atmosphere for which the region is famous.

Continue to a nearby rubber garden, where you can learn about rubber cultivation while enjoying another side of Sreemangal’s lush agricultural landscape.

Later, experience one of Sreemangal’s most recognizable traditions by tasting its famous seven-layer tea, prepared with visually distinct layers.

If time permits, visit a local tribal village to experience community life and learn about traditional tea-picking practices.

Day 2 – Sreemangal to Sylhet: Forest, Tribal Communities & Spiritual Heritage

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to Lawachara National Forest, one of the beautiful forest areas of northeastern Bangladesh.

Spend time experiencing the natural environment before continuing through the surrounding tea-growing region.

During the day, visit Khasia, Santal, Manipuri, and Orang communities, where you will have an opportunity to learn about their distinctive lifestyles, traditions, and local cultures. These visits are arranged respectfully and with the consent of the local communities.

In the afternoon, travel from Sreemangal to Sylhet by road or train.

After arriving in Sylhet, turn your attention to the city’s spiritual heritage with visits to the important shrines of Hazrat Shah Jalal (R.) and Hazrat Shah Paran (R.).

Day 3 – Lalakhal, Jaflong, Timber Village & Local Sylhet Life

After breakfast, set out for a full day exploring some of Sylhet’s most scenic natural and local attractions.

Begin with a boat journey on Lalakhal, known for its beautiful turquoise-colored water and surroundings of green hills and countryside.

Relax on the water and enjoy a completely different perspective of rural Sylhet as you cruise through the peaceful landscape.

Continue to Jaflong, famous for its river scenery, stone-collecting activities, and nearby Khasia tribal area. The combination of water, stone, hills, and everyday local activity makes Jaflong one of the most distinctive landscapes on the tour.

Next, visit a traditional riverside timber village, where you can observe local life and the relationship between the community and the river.

In the evening, return to Sylhet city and explore a local bazar or New Market. Browse local products, experience everyday city life, discover local food, and see another side of Sylhet away from its natural attractions.

Day 4 – Sada Pathor, Ratargul Swamp Forest & Return to Dhaka

Begin your final day with a journey to Sada Pathor, known for its white-stone riverbed and flowing water.

Take time to enjoy the natural surroundings before continuing to one of the most distinctive landscapes of the tour.

Next, visit Ratargul Swamp Forest for a memorable boat journey through its wetland environment.

Travel through the waterways and experience the unusual relationship between forest and water that makes Ratargul an important part of the Sylhet experience.

In the afternoon, transfer to the railway station and board your train back to Dhaka.

Arrive in Dhaka at night, bringing your four-day journey through the tea gardens, forests, rivers, communities, and cultural landscapes of northeastern Bangladesh to an end.
